The most commonly used gases are oxygen, nitrogen, argon, hydrogen, carbon dioxide, helium, acetylene, laughing gas and mixtures of gases on the basis of argon or nitrogen.

The gases oxygen, nitrogen and argon are distilled from liquefied air, helium is recovered from natural gas and the gases acetylene, hydrogen, carbon dioxide and laughing gas are produced according to classical, chemical processes.

IJsfabriek Strombeek offers a wide range of dry ice and liquid nitrogen for freezing techniques. In addition, IJsfabriek Strombeek offers as one of its original activities a complete and competitive range of welding equipment.
