There are dozens of types of gases and gas mixtures that IJsfabriek Strombeek brings on the market for many applications, both medical and industrial and even for private use. The most commonly used gases are oxygen, nitrogen, argon, hydrogen, carbon dioxide, helium, acetylene, laughing gas and mixtures of gases on the basis of argon or nitrogen.

The gases oxygen, nitrogen and argon are distilled from liquefied air, helium is recovered from natural gas and the gases acetylene, hydrogen, carbon dioxide and laughing gas are produced according to classical, chemical processes.
